With significant HR challenges facing the Community Disability Services Sector, the following organizations partnered to focus on leadership development and sustainability:

• Calgary Services Provider Chairs' Council
• Calgary Region Persons with Developmental Disabilities Community Board (PDD)
• Community Rehabilitation Service Provider Council of Calgary
• The Calgary Foundation
• The Vocational and Rehabilitation Research Institute (VRRI)
• Mount Royal University

Specifically, they wanted to accomplish the following within the Community Disability Services sector:

• identify future leadership needs
• create solutions
• develop a shared plan to implement these solutions
